On The Art Trail with Peter Buwalda: Aerial Hunters

When I worked backcountry at the Water Trails in Algonquin Highlands, Dragonflies were a very good friend. Once they reach adulthood a dragonfly becomes a mighty hunter and only eats live prey. For me canoeing and portaging equipment, this meant eating everything that was trying to eat me! I will never tire of documenting these insect friends, and plan to paint them again soon. I feel I need to draw the Magnificent Dragon Hunter. To be continued!
