On The Art Trail with Peter Buwalda : A Final Tribute to Winter; Frost Ski Trails, Ontario
I used to groom 26 km (16miles) of ski trails at the Leslie Frost Ski Trails in Algonquin Highlands, Ontario. The most satisfying thing after the hard work was done by myself and my colleague Dylan, was knowing we opened up an opportunity for people to get out and experience otherwise nearly impossible to reach winter destinations. It was hard, cold work. But the second you see sun shine through a flawless ice fall, or listen to the sounds of winter silence, you would remember why you were doing it. I enjoy trying to paint ice and snow feel it will constantly challenge me. But for now, I say bring on Colorado summer!!
